Tony Botes is the National Administrator of SASA, the Security Association of South Africa, the largest association of its kind in the private security sector in the country.
He has more than 30 years’ experience in the private security industry, initially as a security service provider until his “retirement” in 2009, after which he was contracted as project manager for four of the largest venues for the 2010 World Cup.
He has also been the author of the legislation relating to remuneration and conditions of employment in the security industry for more than 25 years and has conducted training throughout the industry since then.
His responsibilities within SASA include the promotion of compliance to both security service providers and consumers of security services, which he does in conjunction with PSIRA, the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority, and the Department of Labour.

Paul Pamboukian Lighting Design is a product neutral, independent lighting design studio founded in 1990 by Paul to provide bespoke and integrated lighting solutions to the built environment. Over the past 28 years PLD has worked on a variety of projects, in various countries across the spectrum, with the aim of activating intrinsic visual and brand value through a sensitive application of light. To date, the company has completed close to 400 projects. To us the creative process constitutes the delicate management of aesthetic, technical, environmental, sustainable and financial considerations.

South African born Shiree Darley attended Technikon Witwaterstrand studying Interior Design. Prior to graduating in 1989 she joined one of South Africa’s leading architectural firms, Stauch Vorster Architects - gaining experience in Retail Design with projects such as the prestigious Rosebank Mall in Johannesburg.
In 1991 - an opportunity with Northpoint Architects addressed her yearn for Leisure and Hospitality Design - Shiree was closely involved with the design and implementation of the refurbishment of the Wild Coast Sun Hotel and Casino for the client, Sun International.
This was a catalyst to her joining the world renowned Interior Design firm, Wilson and Associates, for whom she headed up the South African Office for 16 years. Building up a team with design commissions including the Sun International properties: Sun City Resorts and Zimbali Forest Lodge, Sugar Beach Resort, Royal Livingstone Hotel. Her client base extended to other 5 Star African and Mauritius Resorts - Le Telfair Resort, Tsogo Sun’s Intercontinental Palazzo Hotel and Oliver Tambo Airport Intercontinental Hotel.
Expanding the South African offices horizons into the UAE market, Shiree’s team were assigned to design leading international resorts including the Royal Mirage Hotel, Dubai and the Shangri La Hotel, Abu Dhabi. She also successfully secured the award for the luxurious redesign of the Blue Train, one of South Africa’s tourism icons.
In 2009, DIAD secured the commission for the Emirates First & Business Class Lounges for the new Dubai International A380 Concourse.

He was then fortunate to work for Phil Spencer (Location Location Location) at Garrington Home Finders working exclusively for the buyer, finding and negotiating on prime property in Central London working for an array of clients from CEO's to celebrities. Working for the buyer gave me my experience, knowledge and understanding for customer service and communication, seeing the transaction from the other side.

Mr. Slitine had spent 16 years in the United States during which he has spent 10 years in several senior engineering and management positions with international companies including Wilbur Smith Associates, HNTB and Altek Engineering. Mr. Slitine holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, a Master of Science in Transportation Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a MBA from the University of Houston at Clear Lake. He has a dual Moroccan and American citizenship and is fluent in Arabic, French and English.

Adil Khayame, 47 years old, is issued from a business education, his career evolution moved from a banking environment (15 years – Trade finance - M&A and Risk Management) to responsibilities of management, strategy and coordination in the Real Estate business (8 years).
Mr Khayame had several management positions in France and Morocco. After 4 years in the Banking and Insurance Consulting area in Paris, as Business Unit Manager, he joined one of the leading french banks to manage a major merger (2007 & 2008).
His last position in France was Chief Risk Officer at BPCE He is now Delegate General Manager of MARITA GROUP and General Manager of the overall Real Estate Business including 2 flagship projects in Rabat: - Green Tech Valley (217 Million USD investment – Full Equity Project - Salé) - Dar Essalam Gardens ( 500 Million USD investment – 71 ha – Rabat)
Mr. Kamal Belghmi

With more than 30 years experience in hospitality and tourism, and in the development of mixed-use residential projects in Morocco, Kamal Belghmi founded BLUESTONE Hospitality Consulting to offer its expertise and know-how to developers, investors, owners and management companies. In that perspective, BLUESTONE's mission is to develop development, market entry and expansion strategies for hotel operators and owners. Further, BLUESTONE service lines encompass Marketing and Financial Feasibility Studies and Asset Valuations. Its services also include strategic planning for business advice related to the acquisition and renovation and/or finishing of hotel assets. In addition, Mr. Belghmi is a partner of Knight Frank, the world's leading real estate consulting firm.
Kamal Belghmi holds a dual MBA from Cornell University and ESSEC. He began his career at Banque Al Maghrib, The Moroccan Central Bank, as a Financial Analyst. He later also gained international experience with the Le Méridien Porte Maillot Hotel in Paris as Marketing Manager.

Civil Engineering engineer with a specialization in energy and sustainability, Mr. Zakaria Sadik, is President of the Morocco Green Building Council, expert and referent in green building. He is also the auditor in HQE, Green Kay, Iltizam Label and Energy Efficiency.
As part of its activities within the MGBC, Zakaria Sadik is in charge of promoting sustainable construction, monitoring sustainable construction indicators and transparency of the sector of Green Building certification in Morocco including the training and diffusion of best practices knowledge, awareness raising, seminars and environmental studies.
As CEO of ALTO EKO, an ALTO engineering subsidiary in Africa, Zakaria assists several real estate and construction professionals in integrating environmental solutions into the building processes. He has several references in his credit, as an example a Carbon Footprint of the COP22 and of the Taghazout Bay Station, HQE and LEED certifications of housing, schools and universities, offices, shopping centers and Industrial units.
Mr. Lotfi Sidirahal
Lotfi Sidirahal is the founder of Atelier Pod, an international architecture and interior design studio founded in Paris in 1999, with branches today in Dubai and Casablanca. An author of identities, he belongs to an exclusive elite of designers often called upon to design luxury branded hotels and resorts across the globe.
Sidirahal had been accustomed to early recognition in the design world. At the young age of 22, his foremost research and prototypes were displayed in renowned art centers and exhibitions worldwide as the Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rein and Hangaram Museum in Seoul.
Sidirahal’s interest in luxury brand design led him to become the co-owner of “Nebka” the Paris-based design firm specialized in high-end luxury, frequently collaborating with Kenzo, Armani, Clarins, Guerlain, and more.
His innovative approach challenging the field’s many limitations, and his profound understanding of the luxury brands universe, allowed him to become one of the most reputable contemporary Designers in international hospitality.

Mr. Amédée Santalo

Amédée Santalo completed his Engineer degree in computer science (Unix System Management) in 1992 and started his career in Geneva at CERN the European Organisation for Nuclear Research.
Today he is a Concept designer with an Architectural background with more than 25 years of experience and he is the Adviser to H.E. Sheikh Tarek M. Binladen since 2013. Amédée has experiences in Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia and Eastern Europe countries which brought him an important network.
He is specialised in Smart Cities and Skyscrapers Design using Biomimicry as inspiration. During his stay in UAE he was representing the higher education department for European Union during 2 years. In the same period he was the Adviser of HH Sheikh Tariq M. AL Qassimi, member of the Ras Al Khaimah (U.A.E.) Ruling Family. He is working along with H.E. Sheikh Tarek M. Binladen since the year 2005 who tought Amédée new type of Cities concept and design. Today, he is concentrating in Smart Cities projects for Africa and on new Hospitality concepts. He is partner in Swiss Hospitality Holding SA, a new brand of 4 star hotels chain based in Geneva. He created Smart Choice hotels and Zen Floating Hotels resort which should start in 2018. Amédée believes that our society is changing; the Digital revolution, we are currently passing through, will totally transform our future, the upcoming projects have to be designed and conceptualised in the right direction to succeed.
Mr. Nasser Turk
Regional Manager MEA - WATG and Wimberly Interiors
Nasser Turk is Regional Design Manager for the Middle East and Africa at WATG and Wimberly Interiors and has been based in the UAE for the past 7 years.
Nasser is a master planner and urban, landscape and graphic designer with over 20 years experience. He has worked throughout the Middle East, the Americas and Asia. He has been involved in projects from site plans and detailed landscape designs and construction efforts to large-scale urban designs, strategic master plans, feasibility studies, development guidelines and landscape master plans.
Nasser’s involvement from concept development through implementation with a focus on design along with his client liaison skills makes him a valuable member of WATG.
Prior to WATG, Nasser worked as a Senior Design Consultant for the General Managers Office at the Abu Dhabi Municipality and before then as Owner of Turk Unlimited, Limitless Landscapes and the Planning Studio in Arizona, USA.
Mr. Philippe Doizelet
Philippe started his career as a consultant with Horwath & Horwath followed by KPMG before joining Europcar as Project Director. He then worked as a Corporate Research Director for the Accor group. He joined the office of Horwath HTL France as a partner in 2006.Specialized in hotel market and feasibility studies, Philippe has managed 300 development studies both in France and internationally.
Philippe Doizelet is regularly invited to speak at leading Hotel Investment Conferences in Dubai and participates in several industry publications (Yearbook Hotel, Global Hotel Network, STR Global etc.). He is a member of ISHC.
Mr. Mehdi Belabbes
Graduated from ESG Paris Business School with a Master’s degree in Marketing and an MBA in Hospitality Management, Mehdi, has acquired Marketing and Financial analysis skills over his experiences in France and Abroad (United States, France, Indonesia, Morocco).
Mehdi joined Horwath HTL in 2015 and is specialized in market research and feasibility studies in Europe as well as in Western and North Africa
Ms. Najwa El Iraki
Najwa El Iraki is the founder & CEO of AfricaDev Consulting Ltd. She is the Managing Director & official representative in Morocco for Opportunity Network , a global fintech matchmaking platform. Recently, she became a senior advisor for Earth Group.
Prior to this, she was the head of business development at Casablanca Finance City Authority (CFCA), a public-private held organization dedicated to positioning Casablanca as a regional financial center and a premier gateway into African markets for multinational corporations, financial institutions and professional service firms. Najwa structured the project from its inception, contributing to the overall strategy for building a regional business and financial centre, advising institutional prospective investors and attracting close to 130 international companies.
Previously, she was Senior Manager within Mazars’ Financial Services Group in London. She was responsible for a team providing business advisory work and financial strategic planning across the banking, insurance and funds sectors. A role she took on after working within both large international investment banks (Lehman Brothers/Nomura) within their EMEA equity derivative business and a big four firm (KPMG London) advising financial institutions and corporates in various consulting areas including tax, corporate finance and restructuring.
Najwa has accumulated close to 15 years’ experience and holds a Master’s degree in Business Management and Finance from leading French and British business schools (Kedge Business School & Aston Business School). She is a qualified Chartered Accountant, member of both international accountancy and UK tax leading professional institutes (ICAS & ATT). She holds a certificate on leadership management from Harvard Business School. She is also a member of the Africa Expert Network and the Moroccan Association of finance and management. Najwa was named among the 60 most influential women in Africa in 2016 by “New African Woman Magazine" as well as Financial Advisor North Africa of the Year 2016 – Consultancy Award by the Corporate Vision Magazine based in London.
